Its Toyota Hybrid System 5 combines a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission, delivering 138 net combined horsepower while giving this tribute a distinctly modern foundation.
Toyota gives the edition its own visual identity with exclusive 60th Anniversary exterior badging and 18-inch machined alloy wheels with black finishes. Ice Cap is one exterior choice, while Supersonic Red makes its Toyota Corolla sedan debut as a color exclusive to the special edition. The cabin carries the theme further through Black and Red Sport fabric seat inserts, 60th Anniversary door sills, and matching floor mats. A 10.5-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia® touchscreen is also standard. The limited-run model is scheduled to reach U.S. dealerships in early 2027.
