The Toyota Corolla has always been known as a practical car perfect for simple daily driving tasks. Thanks to the new Toyota GR Corolla, that’s about to change.
Performance
The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla comes with a turbocharged 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine that pumps out 300 horsepower. In comparison, the Toyota Corolla has a 139-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. You’ll get a six-speed manual transmission with the Toyota GR Corolla, along with the GR-Four all-wheel drive system, which will allow you to pick three different power-distribution modes.
The Circuit Edition trim comes with front and rear limited-slip differentials, which are also available in the base Core trim. The limited-edition Morizo trim has a retuned engine, lighter weight forged wheels, and a suspension specially calibrated for track-like performance.
Interior
The Toyota GR Corolla comes with sport seats, aluminum pedal covers, and a six-way adjustable driver's seat. You will also get push-button start and ambient interior lighting. In place of the cloth upholstery in the base trim, the Circuit Edition offers suede and faux-leather upholstery. Morizo comes with red-and-black upholstery, along with faux-suede for the steering wheel rim, shift knob, and parking brake lever.
All models come with an eight-inch touchscreen, Android Auto™, and Apple CarPlay®. Amazon Alexa® and a Wi-Fi hot spot are also standard. Navigation, a wireless device charging pad, and an eight-speaker JBL stereo are all available.
