If you’re planning a spring cleaning for your home, you should also think about giving one to your Toyota. In addition to perhaps clearing out the clutter and vacuuming, it should also involve some important Toyota service. These are the three tasks you may be due for.

Tire Pressure Check

There’s a good chance that you have been driving around on under-inflated tires. This is true even if your car has a built-in air pressure monitoring system. It will only alert you if the pressure drops below 75 percent, which is why you should check it often. When the air is at the correct level, this will improve your fuel economy and enhance your safety.

Battery Test

Did your battery struggle during the winter? While the cold weather may have been a factor, its age may be the bigger issue. Batteries typically wear out after about five years or so, and if yours is getting up there, you should have it tested to gauge its health. If its juice is running low, this will give you the chance to replace it.

Oil Change

If you didn’t do a ton of driving over the last several months, you will still want to get your oil changed. Even if it just sits in tank, oil gets thicker as it ages. As a result, it can’t supply adequate lubrication to the moving parts in the engine. This has a negative impact on power and acceleration, and it also hurts your gas mileage.
