When Toyota stated that they would be giving the Corolla a fresh new makeover for 2014, R&H Toyota has been scouring our resources for every bit of information we could find to share with Baltimore area drivers on our blog.

The upcoming Corolla will display a brand new adaptations futuristic features from Furia concept that was shown by Toyota at the Detroit Auto Show. The impending model will also be borrowing some of its style from the Camry.  The new Corolla will be available in a base, LE, S and Eco trim level and feature additional updates to the vehicle's interior including SoftTex leather wrapped shifters, seats and steering wheel along with a push-to-start button and navigation system.

Under the hood, the Corolla will retain a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine that uses Toyota Valvematic continuously variable valve timing for an optimal driving experience. The vehicle will also come with the option of a four-speed automatic transmission and six-speed manual transmission. No official performance specs have been reported yet, however for the sake of comparison, we would guess it would be around the current Corolla's of 132 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque.

That's all that we've come across so far concerning the 2014 Corolla as Toyota has been very tight-lipped about the upcoming model.
