The Toyota Prius is one of the most talked about Toyota models in our showroom and here on our R & H Toyota blog. It is impossible to deny the popularity of the Prius in the Baltimore, MD area and beyond which is why the next-generation of the model is spawning even more attention, thanks to new spy shots.
The 2015 Toyota Prius is slated for a redesign that promises even better fuel economy and other innovations. A test vehicle of the model was recently snapped covered by thick black matting which gave Toyota enthusiasts a sneak peek.
The interior of the model sparks interest with its updated and modern three-spoke steering wheel and instrument panel that will make drivers feel like they are behind the wheel of a luxury vehicle. Also, there are plans in place to upgrade the electric system of the Prius, while still utilizing the same nickel hydride batteries that are currently found on models. Another exciting factor to the 2015 Prius model is that its production will move to the United States for assembly at the automaker's plant in Tupelo, Mississippi.
There has also been some speculation that the new model will have another trim available that is sculpted after the NS4 Concept in addition to a possible all-wheel drive edition. However, we won't have confirmation of these possible new updates until the release date is closer.
