Toyota was looking for a new way to get the word out about its Prius Plug-in model, so it decided to call upon local nonprofits to help with this task. This is how the idea for the Toyota Prius Plug-in MPG Challenge came to be. In the fourth wave of competition, seven nonprofits are coming together to achieve the best miles per gallon rating while testing out a Prius Plug-in. Take a look at the different teams that are taking part in the challenge.

The first place winner will receive $2,500 donation for their foundation, as Toyota is proud to award these nonprofits for trying out its efficient Prius model.
