What to Expect in the 2019 Toyota RAV4

The all-new 2019 Toyota RAV4 debuted last week at the New York International Auto Show, and we feel bad for its competition. The Toyota RAV4 was already the Toyota brand’s top-selling vehicle, and the best-selling non-pickup-truck automobile. In just the last five years alone, the Toyota RAV4 model’s sales volume has doubled. And now comes the redesigned 2019 model, replete with upgrades and a fantastic new design.

Arriving at the end of 2018, this redesigned Toyota RAV4 has everything one could want in a compact crossover SUV. Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0 is standard on all trims, bringing a lineup of advanced safety features that’s seldom seen on other models. Also standard is Entune™ 3.0, the Toyota brand’s acclaimed infotainment platform. Featured integrations include Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay®, and Wi-Fi Connect powered by Verizon.

On the performance side, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 boasts a “Toyota-first” that our Maryland Toyota dealers are excited to show you: an available dynamic torque vectoring all-wheel drive (AWD) system with rear driveline disconnect. This system, coupled with the 2019 Toyota RAV4 model’s robust, performance-oriented new design, ensures a driving experience unseen in the compact crossover SUV class. And there’s also the not-so-small matter of this SUV’s available multi-terrain select technology, which gives the Toyota RAV4 some serious off-road ability.

And the hits keep coming: whereas last year saw the release of the Toyota RAV Adventure trim, 2019 marks the launch of the 2019 Toyota RAV4 XSE Hybrid, a sporty, multi-talented vehicle with a phenomenal hybrid powertrain that pairs the Toyota brand’s 2.5-liter four-cylinder Dynamic Force engine with the Toyota Hybrid System II and a sport-tuned suspension. The result is pure behind-the-wheel enjoyment.

Stay tuned for more news regarding the all-new 2019 Toyota RAV4!
